Hiking trail south of the town of Perry leading to the Kansas River near the confluence of the Delaware and Kansas Rivers. The trail meanders through mature cottonwoods that soar 100 feet above the landscape. A trail spur ends at a sand bar on the Kansas River with a view of the Perry Lecompton Bridge to the east and an eagle nest is noticable on the south bank. The access road to the trail begins at the corner of Main and Front street in Perry where a Wilkomm Trail limestone sign is set on the southeast corner.
